Six Bricks Level 1

This half-day learning session has been designed to introduce participants to the concept of Six Bricks, and learn a number of activities that can be done with Six Bricks. Six Bricks are short and fun activities done with six colourful DUPLO® bricks in bright colours. As part of the programme, participants will also have the opportunity to develop their own Six Bricks activities.

This programme is intended for anyone who would like learn to use Six Bricks activities with those they work with. This could include those working with children in the capacity of parents, teachers, social workers, or therapists. Six Bricks has also been used with the elderly to help them maintain their motor skills as well as keep their brains active. Trainers looking to introduce playful learning or fun energisers into the facilitation space may also find Six Bricks relevant.

Six Bricks are not a curriculum in and of itself, but are interactive activities designed to support content. It isn’t what you teach, but how you teach it.

As the session is highly hands-on and interactive, the group size will be kept small and limited to just 8 participants. The session will be led by a Care for Education recognised facilitator who is certified to teach Six Bricks to adults
