Resilience to Manage Challenges (Online)

Participants will receive a physical training kit that includes a hardcopy workbook, LEGO® 6-piece polybag, LEGO® Window Exploration Kit & other training materials before the session.

Most people feel that they are caught in never-ending challenges and adversity in their life. This feeling is further aggravated by the COVID-19 pandemic. Under these challenges, life is under constant pressure. The new normal is not going to be the same. One’s ability to navigate and cope with the demanding situations in all aspects of life is critical. That ability to bounce back and bounce forward with relevant essential skills is collectively referred as resilience. This set of skill is critical for sustaining personal and professional wellbeing.

This one-day learning session has been designed to enable participants to build skills around Resilience, mindfulness and wellbeing. Participants will use a Resilience Checkup to understand the areas they need to pay attention to within these three dimensions. Using the findings each person will develop and share a personal action plan during the session, representing their commitment to build and sustain Resilience going forward. They will integrate their understandings, aspirations and action plans through LEGO® models using elements of the LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® method.

The session, will equip the participants with specific practices and tools they can adopt to reduce stress, cope better with uncertainty, and become more engaged at work using resilience skills and mindfulness practices that leads to personal wellbeing.

The session will be led by Facilitators who are certified in the LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® Method.

This learning solution will enable participants to understand:

Recognise the power of resilience concept and its contribution to the personal wellbeing
Apply strengths focused lifestyle to bring the resilience concept alive in all aspects of life
Execute purpose driven practices to bring meaning to work - a key element of resilience
Build and expand social contacts to cope and thrive at challenging situations
Integrate positive mindset practices to gain and sustain resilience, wellbeing and mindfulness in all aspects of Life and Work

The LEGO® Serious Play® Method

Initially designed for internal use at The LEGO® Group, this disruptive and innovative method of learning creates a safe learning environment for all. Using specially designed activities and questions, our certified facilitators will bring you through a 4-step process that unlocks the hidden potential within individuals, while enabling learning to be internalised and applied more effectively.
