Programme Summary

In a globalised economy, organisations have recognised the importance of being able to adapt and work across cultures with confidence. Learning to cope in any culture is a highly valued competency.

People have long understood that success in today’s globalised economy requires cultural awareness and the ability to adapt to different cultures and a whole range of other diversity-related issues as well. This kind of awareness, known as Culture Quotient/Culture Intelligence (CQ), can be learned and mastered.

Cultural Intelligence is the capability to function effectively in a variety of national, ethnic, and organisational cultures. Culture Quotient refers to a set of capabilities that are necessary to be successful, both personally and professionally, in the workplace. Cultural Intelligence is unique because it focuses specifically on the skills and capabilities needed to succeed internationally and in multicultural domestic contexts.Cultural Intelligence is the key competency for managing diversity in the workplace.
